Ok, so when I ran the MWO for the BETA, I copy pasted the info like pretty much everyone else. And i assumed It was correct. Yes I know what happens when I assume

here is what the Profiler says my system is:

Quote

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
System RAM: 8109 MB
CPU Name: Intel® Core™ i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz
CPU Speeds: 3601
Physical CPUs: 1
Virtual CPUs: 4
Video Card Description: Intel® HD Graphics 3000
VRAM: 2108 MB
Primary Display Resolution: 1920x1080
Multi-Monitor Desktop Resolution: 1920x1080
Microphone: True
Language: English (United States)
Free Hard Drive Space: 67754 MB
Total Hard Drive Space: 114370 MB
Windows Experience Index Rating: 7.5

Only problem...I actually have an nVidia 560ti graphics card, and the Profiler never grabbed that. Now I don;t know if this is holding me up for a BETA KEY, but I would like to think not, but one never knows. I might have been sent to the trash bucket by some sorting software as an unplayable system.

So, Someone, please tell me if I can update this or am I boned until Aug 7?

I will guarantee it is not holding you back from Beta. System specs are only part of the Beta selection algorithm that invites people at random. Even if you had the integrated Intel graphics, your system is above min-spec. Don't worry about it and quit yelling at Russ. He's been kinda jittery since yesterday.

BONED!
Don't feel bad my system will prob run the game but I signed up on a computer that I don't intend to play the game with, thats a whole different system, how stupid was that? what the heck was I thinking?
Oh well I don't think I would be a good beta tester anyway

And that just probably covered start up expences and loans.

Maybe he is jittery becuase they are thinking OH **** these fans are serious going to overload our systems the first few weeks LOL
Now he is thinking we took in this much money, we need to buy this many more servers oyyyyy the headache of a new game. LOL
Either that or he is tired of getting his butt shot off in the beta LOL

-HUGE SIGH OF RELEIF!-

the specs on my profile are for my old laptop. I went and dropped 1k on a gaming rig just for MWO.

Well I hope these guys are up to a million by now and I also hope that is twice what they need to cover all their cost so that they have a nice padding in the account, if this game is half of what i think it will be they deserve it and if i could I would gladly give more
Just can't hardly wait, sitting here beside myself

Many gaming laptop users have this problem and I am happy to see pauls response. It gives us all hope!

I recently got a new comp too and its about twice as good as the one I made a profile for....I hope I can still have a shot. :D

How would you feel if you had been rolling the dice in your hand for the last 18 months then threw them in the table and got that hard 8 you were betting on?

What if you were below min-spec, but have since upgraded your system?

HEY PAUL, what about me? My profiler only grabbed my OS's hard drive size. But I keep my OS and data/games/etc on different drives because that's nice and clean and easy to fix things with. Maybe you guys think I don't have enough space on my hard drive for MWO?

And that aside, I'm building a new computer and will be done anywhere between one week and three weeks from now.

Could we get a chance to change our profiles or could we be categorically told it doesnt matter? I'd take either. I am pretty sure the comp I added meets minimum specs even with the graphics card not being properly displayed, but Many people are nervous and making them calm is good.

This is the settings I submitted for this account, even though it is not my newest comp. It seems like everythings is good besides the GPU (which is the power saving one, not the SLI one.) Will this effect me? Hmm.

Edit: I looked at the system requirements and it seems a bit low on the processor side so I am now worried. :)

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
System RAM: 3838 MB
CPU Name: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9000 @ 2.00GHz

Video Card Description: NVIDIA GeForce 9400

your EVERYTHING is low. Your 9400 is not even close to the 8800.

You can buy an 8800 from ebay for around $50
your processor MIGHT run it, but i would check up on a new one, but if you wanna upgrade, gotta go with an ENTIRE new system. New mother board means new ram and new porocessor. if you are running off of IDE, then new everything else.
